Basketful of heads #3 – Joe Hill – Leomacs

18 décembre – 32 pages – 3,99 $

Basketful of Heads continues as a seven-issue miniseries! June Branch has been hunted, haunted, and desperate; she’s got an ancient Viking axe with mystical properties and a severed head in a basket that won’t shut up. If she can’t make her traveling companion be quiet, maybe she can get some answers out of him…answers that might spell the difference between life and death. But getting him to talk is one thing, and getting the truth out of him is another. He’s a decapitated devil who’d like nothing more than to lead June astray-and with three other killers out to finish her off, so she has no room for error. The comic with the sharpest edge in horror returns for another swing of the axe!

Family Tree #2 – Jeff Lemire – Phil Hester

18 décembre – 32 pages – 3,99 $

Loretta and her family are surrounded by deadly cultists and running out of time when Grandpa Judd arrives toting his ornery attitude and his trusty shotgun. But what good is a gun against a mysterious ailment turning his granddaughter into a tree?

Farmhand #12 – Rob Gillory

18 décembre – 32 pages – 3,99 $

The Jedidiah Seed claims another victim, as Ezekiel stumbles onto something otherworldly growing in the crawfish fields of Freetown.

Folklords #2 – Matt Kindt – Matt Smith

18 décembre – 32 pages – 3,99 $

Against the order of his village, Ansel strikes out to find the Folklords, the only beings that can explain his visions of another world. But the forest is even more dark and terrible than he was told, and Ansel meets two very different women who will change his life-one way or another-forever.

Invisible Kingdom #8 – G Willow Wilson – Christian Ward

18 décembre – 32 pages – 3,99 $

Against the order of his village, Ansel strikes out to find the Folklords, the only beings that can explain his visions of another world. But the forest is even more dark and terrible than he was told, and Ansel meets two very different women who will change his life-one way or another-forever.

Low Low Woods #1 – Carmen Maria Machado – Dani

18 décembre – 32 pages – 3,99 $

Shudder-To-Think, PA, has been on fire for years. The coal mines beneath it are long since abandoned. The woods are full of rabbits with human eyes, a deer woman who stalks hungry girls, and swaths of skinless men. And the people in Shudder-to-Think? Well, they’re not doing so well either. When El and Octavia wake up in a movie theater with no memory of the last few hours of their lives, the two teenage dirtbags begin a surreal and terrifying journey to discover the truth about the strange town that they call home. DC and Hill House Comics present the comics debut of award-winning, bestselling horror writer Carmen Maria Machado (Her Body and Other Parties, In the Dream House). THE LOW, LOW WOODS explores body horror down paths yet unexplored in comics. It will leave readers searching for their way back home and terrified of what they find changed upon their return.

Middlewest #13 – Skottie Young – Jorge Corona

18 décembre – 32 pages – 3,99 $

NEW STORY ARC Abel knows hard work and cruel adults, and on the Raider Farms he’ll find no shortage of either. Elsewhere, Maggie and Jeb struggle to rally a crew to rescue the kids, and they need to be quick-the weather is starting to turn.

Once & Future #5 – Kieron Gillen – Dan Mora

18 décembre – 32 pages – 3,99 $

With Gran’s life hanging in the balance, Duncan comes face to face with another knight in search of the Grail, and only one will emerge victorious…

Visitor #1 – Paul Jenkins – MJ Kim

18 décembre – 32 pages – 3,99 $

Unstoppable. Untraceable. Unkillable. This is how he changes the world¿ Who is the Visitor? Why are the leaders of the world terrified of him? And will they live long enough to find out?

Outer Darkness Vol. 2 – John Layman – Afu Chan

18 décembre – 136 pages – 15,99 $

Co-creator of CHEW, JOHN LAYMAN, and artist AFU CHAN continue their terrifying exploration of space in this new volume! Captain Rigg’s past is revealed, and the Charon finds a haunted house in deep space. If only the crew could figure out how there’s still someone living inside¿ Collects OUTER DARKNESS #7-12

Ice Cream Man Vol. 4 – W Maxwell Prince – Martin Morazzo

18 décembre – 136 pages – 15,99 $

The critically acclaimed horror anthology drives back into town, offering four new stories that zoom in on folks who are just barely scraping by-and willing to do anything to change that. Collects ICE CREAM MAN #13-16

Daredevil #15 – Chip Zdarsky – Marco Checchetto

18 décembre – 32 pages – 3,99 $

As Mayor Fisk suffers an existential crisis, his city descends into chaos. ¿ Matt Murdock, on the other hand, has more conviction than ever – and stands poised to reprise his role as Hell’s Kitchen’s protector.

Indispensable.

Guardians of the Galaxy #12 – Donny Cates – Collectif

18 décembre – 32 pages – 4,99 $

THE ‘FAITHLESS’ STORYLINE ENDS HERE! Thanos Wins¿Cosmic Ghost Rider¿The Death of the Inhumans¿Silver Surfer: Black¿Guardians of the Galaxy¿It’s all been leading to this.

Suicide Squad #1 – Tom Taylor – Bruno Redondo

18 décembre – 32 pages – 4,99 $

Task Force X-nicknamed the Suicide Squad-unites some of the DCU’s unlikeliest villains for its bloodiest series yet! The Squad’s new mission is to neutralize a new group of international super-terrorists known as the Revolutionaries-and not everyone on either side will make it out back alive! But when the U.S. government’s most deniable team of do-badders realizes that the surviving Revolutionaries will be joining the Squad, all hell breaks loose! Who can Harley Quinn and Deadshot trust when their new teammates are the very people their crew was assigned to kill? The Suicide Squad doesn’t just need to worry about surviving their next mission… now they have to survive each other! The acclaimed Injustice creative team of writer Tom Taylor and artist Bruno Redondo reunite for the wildest incarnation of the Squad ever seen!

La Suicide Squad ? Pourquoi pas. Tom Taylor ? Oui ! La Suicide Squad par Tom Taylor ? Oui, Oui Oui !

Superman’s Jimmy Olsen #6 – Matt Fraction – Steve Lieber

18 décembre – 32 pages – 3,99 $

Meanwhile, in Gotham City, the great Olsen/Batman prank war rages on. An old favorite returns to make heads or tails of just what the heck has been going on. Jimmy does some funny Fraction stuff. Batman is there, too, doing some Lieber stuff. Lex Luthor’s kicking around. It’s a whole thing.

Joker Killer Smile #2 – Jeff Lemire – Andrea Sorrentino

18 décembre – 32 pages – 3,99 $

Ben Arnell promised his wife and child one thing: even though he spends his days attempting to reach the bottom of The Joker’s insanity, he would never bring that madness home. No matter how dark the work gets, he would never allow The Joker’s craziness to tear their family apart. And in that, he failed. The Eisner-winning creative team of Gideon Falls kick their blackhearted chronicle of The Joker’s destructive influence into high gear with an issue that turns the entire story on its head, with disastrous consequences for Dr. Arnell!
